Sarah Crowley

Sarah is a professional triathlete focused on Olympic distance, half Ironman distance and iron distance triathlon. Originally from Adelaide, Australia where her ambition for triathlon began, she now has her eyes set on a world championship title at Kona.

What is your ultimate finish line?

The Hawaiian Ironman World Championships in Kona.

What are you most proud of?

My two third place finishes at the Ironman World Championships and my ITU Long Course World Title.

Who is to thank/blame for introducing you to your sport? Tell us your history to how it all began and how you got to where you are now.

I thank the Sam White Aquathon race director from South Australia. I saw this race at Glenelg beach in Adelaide. I was hooked, the sport was so fast paced and the format was fascinating to me. I signed up for a club the next day!

Given our ambition as a brand is to create a fitter and healthier world, how are you going to make the world a fitter and healthier place?

I absolutely love doing club talks and getting involved with club events. I am certainly no coach but if I can pass on some of the information I have learned over the years I think it will help to keep people in the sport.

What does your ultimate training session / day look like?

I love massive brick sessions. Although they can be terribly difficult they are so satisfying to complete. I love a good 3-4 hour ride followed by up to 30 x 800m on / 200m off on the track.
